I'm just me: wife, Mom, Mimi, nurse, and writer. My first book, "The Giggle Box", was published by the now-closed Peak City Publishing in Apex, NC. Inspired by my own family, it is a story about the healing power of laughter and the value of friendship, mixed with a healthy dose of whimsy! My second book, "The Town of Alpaca", has now been published by Outskirts Press. Coming soon: "The Prettiest House on the Block", a memoir for a survivor of Domestic Violence, which will be released in September 2020 by Blue Heron Book Works in Allentown, Pa. Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. is my birthplace but Bethlehem, Pa. is my home town. We moved to NC in 1990 and have lived in Durham, Rocky Mount, Cary, and now Wake Forest. I love God and my family; everything else is secondary. Writing, however, stays close behind the first two! I have been married to my husband since 1974.
